Kenneth R. Reynolds has a varied range of experience in the entertainment industry. Kenneth’s PR company, PUBLIC RELATIONS+, has been responsible for creating and implementing media awareness for a variety of artists ranging from music icons Roy Ayers and Taj Mahal to NBA superstar Chris Webber; The Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, The Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association and The United Negro College Fund.  Kenneth’s television credits include The Jackson Family Honors, The 28th Annual Image Awards, The National Medical Association 50 Year Celebration, Celebrate The Dance, The Beat is Back, The David Frost Show, and two PBS specials.    Reynolds has handled the publicity aspects of the careers of such Pop/R&B mega stars as Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Herbie Hancock, The Jacksons, Stephanie Mills, Cheryl Lynn, Donna Summer, and Kool and The Gang.  Kenneth was also responsible for creating the initial marketing plan that launched the career of pop diva Whitney Houston.    

Reynolds is presently handling press matter for Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band, who scored with the two mega hit, “Express Yourself,: and “Loveland.,” Moroccan recording artist E’lam Jay, and the Los Angeles drug rehabilitation program, R.I.G.H.T. Program. 

More recently Kenneth has made an impression in a different arena when he successfully served as Casting Director for Brenda Russell’s video for her newest single, “Against the Law,” and the independent film, “Silencio...”  Reynolds stretched his casting services/Associate Producer with the forthcoming film, “Freshwater Road,” which is based on the eponymous novel authored by actress Denise Nicholas.  Reynolds was also Associate Producer for the independent film “Wigger.”  Reynolds was reunited with popular group, Labelle (Sarah Dash, Nona Hendryx, and Patti LaBelle), when the group returned to the studio after a 35 year absence to record   “Back to Now,” CD.  Reynolds, Vicki Wickham, and Zuri Edward served as Executive Producers.

           It was after relocating to the west coast Reynolds has been responsible for creating media campaigns for author Angela Ardis , “Inside A Thug’ Heart,”, a compilation of correspondence with the late Tupac Shakur, Emmy winning actress Jackee, Anna Maria Horsford, Jimmy Jean Louis co-star of the feature film “Phat Girlz,” and “Toussaint L’Overture “and  The Fitzgerald Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,

            Kenneth Reynolds now divides his time between Los Angeles and New York.  His spare time allows him to prepare gourmet meals for his friends, and perfect his already near-fluent Spanish.  Kenneth’s charities include the Los Angeles based The Black AID Institute.  Kenneth is also completing “ I Came Here To Live Out Loud (The Confessions of a PR Guru!”), “Guess Who Came To Dinner!,” a pictorial cookbook about the Hollywood celebrities he entertained at home, while simultaneously working on projects to create a place in history for legendary 40’s singer Joyce Bryant. This year Kenneth would like to re-mount, as Director, the stage production of “The Boys in the Band.”
